ARC. EBENEZER-LARYEA-AKITA

~ He is a registered and practicing architect in Ghana (registration number 080 with the Architects Registration Council of Ghana), listed in good standing for many years (including recent lists in 2022–2025). Born on May 30, 1928, in Akwadum (Eastern Region), he attended Accra Academy (1952–1956, Doodo House) and is now over 95 years old (celebrated his 88th in 2021 with tributes from school alumni groups). He is known for his work blending modernist architecture with Ghanaian cultural elements (Tropical Modernism style) and has been active in the profession for decades. He is also the father of Gideon Suomo Akita (another architect, class of '93 at Accra Academy). ~
